Steganography is hiding secret information within unrelated data by embedding it in a way that is hard to notice - e.g. hiding text in a photo by slightly modifying color sof some pixels. Unlike encryption, steganography tries to hide the fact that there is encoded data. It can be used for secret communication, spreading messages, but even for hacking/fun purposes, such as hiding an image within an audiowave.
