Esoteric Programming Languages

Esoteric languages (esolangs) are programming languages not created for practical use but rather for the purpose of fun, challenge, research, and experimentation. The first esolang was INTERCAL, created in 1972. Its most prominent feature is having to use PLEASE labels the correct amount of times (but not too many) or the compiler wouldn't compile the program.
