Dust Bath

Dust bathing is the animal behavior of rolling in sand or dry ground or kicking ground on itself to clean itself, usually due to water being an impractical/lesser option. It is usually done by birds and certain small rodents (ie. chinchillas) whose fur or feathers are too thick for water and would weigh them down or build rot, but can be performed by a number of others mammals aswell, mainly as to clean up from parasites.
